Walt Disney on Wednesday announced the postponement of the 2021 release of Steven Spielberg's "Black Widow" to the disappointment of filmmakers who had high hopes.

"Black Widow" was postponed for six months until May 2021. The change in release dates is a continuation of disappointing efforts to bring Americans back to cinemas after the coronavirus pandemic led to the closure of theaters around the world in March.
