The electrification of Peugeot models was accelerated in 2022 with the new Peugeot 408. Together with the Peugeot 308 and the light commercial electric vehicles (LCV), the Peugeot 408 reinforces the range of Peugeot plug-in hybrids.
By 2025, all Peugeot cars on the market will be offered in an electrified version. For this goal, the number of batteries produced will be supplemented significantly. The qualified team needs around 60 minutes to assemble a 50 kWh battery. For the larger 75 kWh batteries, 90 minutes are required. The skilled team tests each battery.
