The city of Lakeland, in Florida (United States), has a problem of overpopulation of swans. They are part of the attraction of the town but the high cost of feeding them, the fights and other problems derived from the high number of swans have made the authorities take the decision to put some for sale.

The main reason, as mentioned before, lies in the price to feed them. They are 10,000 dollars a year, about 8,500 euros at the current exchange rate.
