Biruki is derived from the Arabic root word "Barakah," which meaning "benediction" or "to be blessed." It is one of a series of Semitic languages that have been used in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council throughout their history.
BIRUKI is an independent footwear label founded in Dubai in 2021 with a nonconformist design approach and a limited release strategy. Birki's initial drop is handcrafted in small amounts with 100 percent cowhide leather with an emphasis on quality and style.
