The Romanian car manufacturer, Automobile Dacia S.A., is the company with the highest revenues in South-Eastern Europe. The car manufacturer leads the top of the largest companies in the region for the sixth year in a row.

Automobile Dacia is owned by Renault, it achieved revenues of 5.21 billion euros in 2019, 0.11% lower than in 2018. Dacia is followed in the top of the largest companies by OMV Petrom, with revenues of 4.65 billion euros in 2019, up 13.6% compared to the previous year.

Kaufland Romania is the best-rated retailer in the region, ranking ninth in the overall ranking, with revenues of about 2.5 billion euros, and the Slovenian company Krka ranks first in the top pharma manufacturers with revenues of 1.43 billion euros.

The top companies with the highest losses are led by the Oltenia Energy Complex, with 180.6 million euros in losses in 2019. Telekom Romania, newly entered into the ranking, is in second place, with losses of 166.3 million euros, followed by Rompetrol Rafinare (-73.8 million euros) and the Slovenian home appliance manufacturer Gorenje (-59.5 million euros).
